The Story Behind This Print
Maple leaves in abstract — the trees photographed as a reflection on the surface of a pond.
Nothing here is upside down on purpose. The water is the subject, and the trees only appear in it; turn the frame the other way and the illusion collapses into what it actually is.
Each print begins as a Lumachrome exposure on metallic photographic paper, then is face-mounted beneath acrylic for extraordinary depth and color. Most images can also be custom-sized up to 120″ on the longest side — just ask.
