The Story Behind This Print
This is a live highway, so working the road into the right position in the early morning was a bit crazy. Photographers were setting up in the middle of the lane, and then truck lights would appear and there would be a mad dash to get clear.
The only panorama in the collection, and the only frame in it with a road.
Each print begins as a Lumachrome exposure on metallic photographic paper, then is face-mounted beneath acrylic for extraordinary depth and color. Most images can also be custom-sized up to 120″ on the longest side — just ask.
